My name is François Klein and I am a PhD student in climatology in the Earth and Life Institute at the Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium).

Following the established "the past is the key to the future" approach, I am studying the mechanisms responsible for the past climate variability using climate model simulations. My current research objective focuses on improving the understanding of the East African climate dynamics, in order to increase the reliability of the climate projections over that region for the next decades.

On this website, you will find information about my current work but also about my other interests such as the environment or computers. Comments and questions are more than welcome !
